Be Ready To Receive

1 John 5:14-15 NLT
[14] And we are confident that he hears us whenever we ask for anything that pleases him. [15] And since we know he hears us when we make our requests, we also know that he will give us what we ask for.

God is very faithful! But be aware, this scripture is not a “name it and claim it” scripture.

The key word in this scripture is “pleases”. Our desires must line up with His desire for us. He will not honor a request if it does not line up with His word. He cannot contradict himself. We must read the word and know what promises are there for us and pray those over ourselves. We need to be submitted in every way to Him, being obedient and following His instruction in order to have the scripture work wholly in our lives. If we are doing things that are contrary to the will of God our desires will not line up.

How do we know that our desires line up with His desires for our lives?

John 15:4-5 NLT says
[4] Remain in me, and I will remain in you. For a branch cannot produce fruit if it is severed from the vine, and you cannot be fruitful unless you remain in me. [5] “Yes, I am the vine; you are the branches. Those who remain in me, and I in them, will produce much fruit. For apart from me you can do nothing.

John 15:6-8 NLT
[6] Anyone who does not remain in me is thrown away like a useless branch and withers. Such branches are gathered into a pile to be burned. [7] But if you remain in me and my words remain in you, you may ask for anything you want, and it will be granted! [8] When you produce much fruit, you are my true disciples. This brings great glory to my Father.

What type of fruit are we bearing? Ask yourself that question, is God pleased?

A man is known by His fruit.

(Matthew 7:16 NLT
[16] You can identify them by their fruit, that is, by the way they act. (Can you pick grapes from thornbushes, or figs from thistles?).

When we are fully functioning in the will of God we can take full advantage of all of His promises. This scripture gives us authority to call things out, through our faith, out of the heavenly realm into the earthly realm. If we understand this principle of authority that was given to us, we will live victorious lives. The same resurrecting power that Christ displayed on earth lives within us when we accept Him into our lives as our personal savior. That same Faith he displayed we have access to. He wants us to thrive and be fully functional in our godly authority through Him and to be fully functional we must follow His precepts.

Other scriptures that parallel this one are:

Matthew 21:21-22 NLT
[21] Then Jesus told them, “I tell you the truth, if you have faith and don’t doubt, you can do things like this and much more. You can even say to this mountain, ‘May you be lifted up and thrown into the sea,’ and it will happen. [22] You can pray for anything, and if you have faith, you will receive it.”

Mark 11:22-26 NLT
[22] Then Jesus said to the disciples, “Have faith in God. [23] I tell you the truth, you can say to this mountain, ‘May you be lifted up and thrown into the sea,’ and it will happen. But you must really believe it will happen and have no doubt in your heart. [24] I tell you, you can pray for anything, and if you believe that you’ve received it, it will be yours. [25-26] But when you are praying, first forgive anyone you are holding a grudge against, so that your Father in heaven will forgive your sins, too.”

This scripture shows us that we need to line up with His precepts to have what He is showing us in scripture.

His desire is for us to come boldly and ask him for the things we need, be bold. As His children we should be strong in the knowledge of our identity in Him and come to Him EXPECTING Him to intervene.

Ephesians 3:12 NLT
[12] Because of Christ and our faith in him, we can now come boldly and confidently into God’s presence.

God wants the very best for all of us. Ask God for His will to override yours and that your prayers align with His word and your desires please Him.

If we do this, he will do that. If we draw close, he will draw close. Be blessed.

Death of a Dream

Building more onto last week’s post……

Hebrews 11:13-14 (NLT) “All of these people died still believing what God had promised them.  They did not receive what was promised, but they saw it all from a distance and welcomed it.  They agreed that they were foreigners and nomads here on earth.  Obviously people who say such things are looking forward to a country they can call their own.”

Some of the those in the Bible who had a word from God and trusted Him to complete the promise they were given were not able to see the promise come to manifest in their lifetime.  Moses was not able to go into the promised land but God gave him a glimpse of it.  Do you think that you would be okay with knowing that you may not see the completion of the promise or dream that you have worked so hard to seeing, but others after you would see it manifest?  The flesh might not be okay with that but God is calling us to be focused on His eternal rewards and seeing the promises He has stored up for us in the heavenly realm.  Our work here is for a greater purpose.  The hopes and dreams He has given you are not only for you, but for others.  Bottom line, He wants to use you to draw people to Him.  As believers that is the ultimate goal, to see lives saved and people made whole in Christ.

Some of the Bible figures waited almost a lifetime and held on and saw their promise come about.  Are you willing to wait for years and years?  Are you content in the process and preparing season on the way to your dream?  These are serious questions to ask yourself because I don’t believe that many are really ready honestly to go through what is necessary to get to the place God has prepared for them.  It is so important to stay close to the Lord during that time and follow His guidance closely through His word and Holy Spirit.  During the waiting period many get discouraged and fall away.  It is very easy to, especially if you have been waiting for years for a promotion of some sort, a marriage to be fixed, etc.  People begin to lose faith.  If you have big dreams, allow your faith to match it.  If your dream is worth it and you have given it to God, He is able to carry you through it!  He is faithful to do it!  You have to understand anything worth having usually has a fight attached to it and we fight not against flesh and blood, but against principalities in high places.  These demonic spirits would love to use your own mind or others to plant seeds of doubt so that they can draw you away from your God given dream.  DON’T ALLOW THAT!  SHAKE IT OFF!  No matter how long you have been waiting stand strong on what God has spoken in His word and push through.

I titled this blog post “Death of Dream”  because people allow their dreams to die if they do not see them happen as they had planned or in their time frame.  God is not like us and our will should align with His (Isaiah 55).  Make sure that your head is in the right place following your dreams and the pursuit of them.  What are your motives?  God wants to use the dreams and promises He gives not only to bless you but so that others will be blessed, keep that in mind.  Ask Him for His guidance on these matters.

God showed me something a few days ago about the word “Inspire”.  The word “Inspire”  means to fill.  When you breathe in, inspire, you are filling your lungs with oxygen.  Just like God Inspires us with His word to seek Him and follow Him.  He Inspires us with dreams and His awesome promises.  He breathes the best into us if we submit to Him.    Proverbs 29:18 (KJV) says,  “Where there is no vision, the people perish: but he that keepeth the law, happy is he.”  Lack of oxygen = death, Lack of God’s Vision/Dreams/Promises/Focus/Presence = death

I have added scriptures at the end to encourage you, please read below….

  •  James 1:2-8 NLT
[2] Dear brothers and sisters, when troubles of any kind come your way, consider it an opportunity for great joy. [3] For you know that when your faith is tested, your endurance has a chance to grow. [4] So let it grow, for when your endurance is fully developed, you will be perfect and complete, needing nothing. [5] If you need wisdom, ask our generous God, and he will give it to you. He will not rebuke you for asking. [6] But when you ask him, be sure that your faith is in God alone. Do not waver, for a person with divided loyalty is as unsettled as a wave of the sea that is blown and tossed by the wind. [7] Such people should not expect to receive anything from the Lord. [8] Their loyalty is divided between God and the world, and they are unstable in everything they do.
  •  “But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.” Matthew 6:33 King James Version (KJV)
  •  For I know the thoughts and plans that I have for you, says the Lord, thoughts and plans for welfare and peace and not for evil, to give you hope in your final outcome.” Jeremiah 29:11 Amplified Bible, Classic Edition (AMPC)
  • Ezekiel 37:10 NLT
[10] So I spoke the message as he commanded me, and breath came into their bodies. They all came to life and stood up on their feet-a great army.

Inspiration: God breathed, filled you with a dream

God can breathe life into into your dead, broken dreams.  Be encouraged, don’t give up, keep pressing forward no matter how things look, things will get better, give God a chance.

Faith Driven Dreams

Hebrews 11:1  Faith shows the reality of what we hope for; it is the evidence of things we cannot see. (New Living Translation)

If you go to Hebrews chapter 11 there are great examples of the heroes of faith who stuck with God’s promises and saw them through.  Even if they did not see the end to all that God had in store they still stood on God’s promises and they found great favor with God.

Examples:

  • Noah and the building of the ark even though everyone thought he was crazy.
  • Abraham going into a land that was unfamiliar to him.
  • Sarah giving birth to a child, well after her child bearing years.

I could go on and on with this subject but I will try to keep it brief because this is a blog not a book.  God is wanting us to live by faith.  To have faith in what we can’t necessarily see, faith in what at times seems like the impossible.  In Genesis God simply spoke the universe and everything into existence, just think of that same power working in your life.  When God gives you a promise, no matter how ridiculous it may sound to others he expects you to hold onto it and move forward towards it.  It pleases God when we have faith (Hebrews 11:6).

In case you are feeling that you are behind in life and your God given dreams are delayed read this scripture, “Then the Lord said to me, Write my answer plainly on tablets, so that a runner can carry the correct message to others.  This vision is for a future time.  It describes the end, and it will be fulfilled.  If it seems slow in coming, wait patiently, for it will surely take place.  It will not be delayed” (Habakkuk 2:2-3 NLT).  Remember that God has a plan and He will absolutely see it through to completion.   He never does things half way, you will be ready to receive what He has for you when it comes in His timing.  Make sure that you are praying to be prepared and ready for what you are asking for, there is still plenty of work that needs to be done in the waiting period.  Also make sure the you are praying that His will be done, not your own.  Your desires must line up with the word of God, God cannot work against what is written in His word.  Jesus said, “And no one puts new wine into old wineskins.  For the wine would bust the wineskins, and the wine and the skins would both be lost.  New wine calls for new wineskins” (Mark 2:22 NLT).  In other words, adding to what I wrote before, make sure you are prepared and you have made room for the NEW blessings and NEW levels God has in store for your life.  Be blessed.

Forgiveness

What are you hanging onto? Remember when that person hurt you, talked about you behind your back, or to your face and it got under your skin? How about when they said that they were your friend and they loved you but gossiped about you behind your back and you found out. These amongst other digs are hard to move passed and get over. It’s natural to be hurt and replay these things over and over in your mind, but carrying these things for years will harm you. They may harm your outlook on future relationships and your relationship with God. Deep offenses should not be carried. It’s okay to be hurt but you must move on. Forgive them and ask God for the strength to move on. Also in some situations just because you forgive them doesn’t mean to go back and have a close relationship with them. Forgive them, pray for them and leave them alone. The bible tells us in Colossians 3:13 (NLT), “Make allowance for each other’s faults, and forgive anyone who offends you. Remember, the Lord forgave you, so you must forgive others.”

Key POINT: Christ says, “If you forgive those who sin against you your heavenly Father will forgive you. But if you refuse to forgive others, your Father will not forgive your sins.” (Matthew 6:14-15 NLT)

Don’t allow your offenses to keep you from the forgiveness God has extended to you. Live your best life, don’t let the nastiness of others hurt your relationship with God, it’s not worth it. Whether they choose to apologize to you or not, still forgive them, live your life.

NLT=New Living Translation

Be CREATIVE

“The Lord merely spoke, and the heavens were created.  He breathed the word, and all the stars were born.” (Psalm 33:6 NLT)

Going back to the beginning

Creation

Creativity

From the beginning of the bible we see creation.  God spoke and things and humans came into being.  Proverbs 18:20-21 helps us to see our role in the direction of our own lives and what an impact our mouths can have, whether good or bad, “A man’s [moral] self shall be filled with the fruit of his mouth;  and with the consequence of his words he must be satisfied [whether good or evil].  Death and life are in the power of the tongue, and they who indulge in it shall eat the fruit of it [for death or life].” (AMP)  Fast forwarding into the New Testament in Ephesians the same idea is repeated, “Let no foul or polluting language, nor evil word nor unwholesome or worthless talk [ever] come out of your mouth, but only such [speech] as is good and beneficial to the spiritual progress of others, as is fitting to the need and the occasion, that it may be a blessing and give grace (God’s favor) to those who hear it.” (Ephesians 4:29 AMP)  These scriptures help us to see how our words have creative power and can build and tear down.

Words can change the atmosphere.  Have you ever been in a room and someone says something and its at the perfect time making a difficult situation seem better, or where someone says something and totally destroys another person’s self confidence.  The scriptures above help us to see how we should be encouraging, loving and careful with our words.  Just one word can spur someone to start a better career or even just brighten their day.  Not only do words affect others they can affect yourself.  Your self talk needs to have the creative power of the Holy Spirit, which is uplifting and fruitful.  Speak His promises over your life and situations, such as “I’m the head and not the tail”, “the works of my hands are blessed,”  “the fruit of my body is blessed,”  “I’m blessed coming in and going out,”  these just a few verses and they are found in Deuteronomy chapter 28.  Pick scriptures that speak to the area where you need uplifting and create in yourself, using the power of the word of God, an atmosphere that will bring forth the creative power of the Holy Spirit and through that you can be uplifting outwardly showing others how to create with the life giving power of the word of God.

James 3:3-9 MSG
[3-4] A bit in the mouth of a horse controls the whole horse. A small rudder on a huge ship in the hands of a skilled captain sets a course in the face of the strongest winds. A word out of your mouth may seem of no account, but it can accomplish nearly anything—or destroy it! [5-6] It only takes a spark, remember, to set off a forest fire. A careless or wrongly placed word out of your mouth can do that. By our speech we can ruin the world, turn harmony to chaos, throw mud on a reputation, send the whole world up in smoke and go up in smoke with it, smoke right from the pit of hell. [7-9] This is scary: You can tame a tiger, but you can’t tame a tongue—it’s never been done. The tongue runs wild, a wanton killer. With our tongues we bless God our Father; with the same tongues we curse the very men and women he made in his image. Curses and blessings out of the same mouth!

Satan will even have you destroy your reputation based on the words that you allow to come out of your mouth.  Be careful what you say.  What say starts in your mind.  Create, in your mind a place for God’s word to dwell.  So when you feel overwhelmed and you want to create chaos with your words, you can remember and draw on the true words of scripture to bring you back under control.

The Promise/Plan Beyond The Pain

The best example that we have to show a promise executed through pain, is the death and resurrection of Christ.

“He was beaten, he was tortured, but he didn’t say a word.  Like a lamb taken to be slaughtered and like a sheep being sheared, he took it all in silence.  Justice miscarried, and he was led off- and did anyone really know what was happening?  He died  without a thought for his own welfare, beaten bloody for the sins of my people.  They buried him with the wicked, threw him in a grave with a rich man, Even though he’d never hurt a soul or said one word that wasn’t true.  Still, it’s what God had in mind all along, to crush him with painThe plan was that he give himself as an offering for sin so that he’d see life come from it-life, life, and more life.  And God’s plan will deeply prosper through him.  Out of that terrible travail of soul, he’ll see that it’s worth it and be glad he did it…”

Reading this scripture we can see that Christ went through immense pain in order to see the promise of salvation and our abundant life come to fruition through his death and resurrection.

Through this example we can take rest in knowing that whatever pain we go through there is a PLAN beyond it.  Trust God, don’t let go.  God will equip you and guide your steps.  Psalms says that God’s “word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path.” (Psalm 119:105 KJV)

If God has given you a dream and you are going through a very difficult time right now and you can’t see through the tears, allow God’s word to be your light.  Nothing is impossible with God.  All you need is one encounter, one meeting that can change your whole life.  If God spoke something to you BELIEVE IT!  His track record is flawless, what he has begun he will absolutely finish, he is faithful and never fails.  Sometimes things don’t come the way we would like them to or in our timing, but rest in the Lord and know he will never leave you nor forsake you.  He knows what’s best and is skillfully shaping you as you move through your destiny in him.  Lean to his wisdom.  When he is first in your life and you rely on his guidance, you can’t go wrong.  Whatever you are going through will work out for the best.

“He has sent me to tell those who mourn that the time of the Lord’s favor has come, and with it, the day of God’s anger against their enemies.  To all who mourn in Israel, he will give a crown of beauty for ashes, a joyous blessing instead of mourning, festive praise instead of despair….”  (Isaiah 61:2-3 NLT)

“Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.  In all they ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.  Be not wise in thine own eyes:  fear the Lord, and depart from evil.”  (Proverbs 3:5-7 KJV)

“This is my comfort in my affliction:  for thy word hath quickened me.” (Psalm 119:50 KJV)

Perspective, The Struggle Is Real

“….That’s why we can be so sure that every detail in our lives of love for God is worked into something good.”  (Romans 8:28 MSG)

Pessimist:  A person who tends to see the worst aspect of things or believe that the worst will happen (defeatist).

Optimist:  A person who tends to be hopeful and confident about the future or the success of something.

How do you see things?  Are you an optimist or a pessimist.  Your perspective can greatly contribute to how you navigate life.  Being extremely negative can hinder you from living your best life and keep you from making valuable relationships.  Let’s say you are approaching a new situation; whether in the form of a job, friendship, potential dating relationship.  Since we are human we will draw from knowledge gained from past situations.  If you have experienced some hardship in either type and you are a pessimist, you will automatically put a stop sign on moving forward because all of the negative thoughts of the past cripple your progression.  On the other hand, as an optimist your approach will be different.  As an optimist you will always see the greener side of situations and more than likely take more risks.  As Christians (Christ followers) we can listen to the voice of the Lord and use His word as compass for our lives.

Through God’s word we can be healed and delivered from wrong mindsets that hinder us and take hold of the abundance He has laid out for us.   Hurtful or traumatic pasts and hurtful words spoken to us can play a huge role in our development but it is up to us how we allow it to further affect our futures.  No matter what you have gone through or whatever your perspective is on life, God is able to break through all of that and love you through to victorious living.  Holding on to hurt and thinking everyone is the same as the people who hurt you is absolutely not true.  People change, things change and you can change.  The Word of God says, “So, what do you think?  With God on our side like this, how can we lose?  If God didn’t hesitate to put everything on the line for us, embracing our condition and exposing himself to the worst by sending his own Son, is there anything else he wouldn’t gladly and freely do for us?  And who would dare tangle with God by messing with one of God’s chosen?  Who would dare even to point a finger”  The One who died for us-who was raised to life for us!-is in the presence of God at this very moment sticking up for us.” (Romans 8:31-37 MSG)  With God on your side you can accomplish and push through the toughest of thoughts and situations.  He did not die to leave us in mediocrity of any form, He wants you to be whole and in peace knowing that it is okay to move forward.    God uses our situations as a platform to teach us, the pain of certain situations, he will use to make you stronger and more resilient.  “As for you, you meant evil against me, but God meant it for good…” (Genesis 50:20).  Don’t allow your thought pattern to kill your progress in relationships and life.

Jeremiah 29:11  MSG “…I’ll show up and take care of you as I promised and bring you back home.  I know what I’m doing.  I have it all planned out-plans to take care of you, not abandon you, plans to give you the future you hope for.”

Have hope for your future

Anger

Tonight I wanted to write about anger.  Everyone experiences it.  Emotions are real and if we allow them they can take over our lives and halt our progress.  Before I began to write this I was dealing with my computer. I discovered that a program had updated and disabled the touchscreen capability on my laptop.  When I discovered it, that’s when I was going to write in the blog, that was six hours ago.   I’ve spoken to two different technicians about the same situation and have not come up with a solution as of yet.   I was so frustrated, I blamed my daughter, I thought that she had broken it; I was at my wits end!  All the while I knew what I was going to write about in the blog.  I had no idea that God would allow me to go through something that would cause me to be the topic of the blog and become utterly infuriated right as I sat down to write.

As I was going through the troubleshooting I thought about how anger and frustration can tear a person down, not to mention rob you of valuable time and energy.  Proverbs 16:32 KJVsays, “He that is slow to anger is better than the mighty; and he that ruleth his spirit than he that taketh a city.”  When things are falling apart around you and you want to point the blame or become bitter remember who you belong to and ask God to help you control yourself.  You are God’s child and His representative on earth.  I could have lost it on the company’s rep who made the update but I thought, “my goodness I’ve missed so much time on what I was originally going to do, I need to come back to this another time.”  I just lost 6 hours, some loose years or even a lifetime of being productive because of an emotion that should be fleeting.  Don’t be that angry, stagnate person that complains all the time, be the light God has called you to be and shine bright in darkness.  Satan definitely wanted to stop my progress but he did not succeed, don’t give him room in your life through your anger and allow him to halt your progress.

John 12:35 MSG “…As you have the light, believe in the light.  Then the light will be within you and shining through your lives.  You’ll be children of light.”

Ephesians 4:26-27 KJV “Be ye not angry, and sin not: let not the sun go down upon your wrath: neither give place to the devil.”

Ephesians 4:29 MSG “Watch the way you talk.  Let nothing foul or dirty come out of your mouth.  Say only what helps, each word a gift.”

Love

I was thinking about Love today and thinking do most people really know what love is.  I was walking through the store today and I was really tired, not really in the mood to smile, but I felt the Holy Spirit urge me to smile and begin speaking to people, strangers.  The first smile and exchange was sort of rigid but went well, as I continued to pass people and kept going it became more fluid and some began initiating conversations with me.  Mind you, I am not a morning person so this was quite difficult, when I go into the store in the morning I just want to be in and out and go about my day.  While I was still walking through the store, God began to show me that you never know what people are going through and just a simple smile and hello can totally change their outlook.  Going further with this thought-we need to be diligent and show the Love of God through our actions, even if it is as small as smile.  A smile might be the key that opens the gate to a conversation that could save a life or give hope.

If we get a clear understanding of where love originates and what it REALLY looks like, our world would be better.  We can start showing this true love in our homes and spread it throughout our communities, one outreach at a time.  Love is action and there are so many scriptures about love, but here are a few.

“…This is how God sent his only Son into the world so we might live through him.  This is the kind of love we are talking about-not that we once upon a time loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as a sacrifice to clear away our sins and the damage they’ve done to our relationship with God.” (1 John 4:10 MSG)

God is LOVE and He loved us first.  God sent (love in action) His only son for us because He loves us that much, He wanted us to be saved, whole lives on earth, and live with Him in eternity.

“I am crucified with Christ [in Him I have shared His crucifixion]; it is no longer I who lives, but Christ (the Messiah) lives in me; and the life I now live in the body I live by faith in (by adherence to and reliance on and complete trust in) the Son of God, Who loved me and gave Himself up for me” (Galatians 2:20).  Since we have this example of the GREATEST LOVE we must love each other.  If you give to the poor or share God’s Word with others, nothing is worth doing without love.

“If I give everything I own to  the poor and even go to the stake to be burned as a martyr, but I don’t love, I’ve gotten nowhere.  So, no matter what I say, what I believe, and what I do, I’m bankrupt without love. Love never gives up.  Love cares more for others than for self.  Love doesn’t want what it doesn’t have. Love doesn’t strut, doesn’t have swelled head, doesn’t force itself on others, isn’t “me first,” doesn’t fly off the handle, doesn’t keep score of the sins of others, doesn’t revel when others grovel, takes pleasure in flowering the truth, puts up with anything, TRUST GOD ALWAYS, always looks for the best, never looks back, but keeps going to the end.” (1 Corinthians 13:3-7 AMP)

In our walk with God let’s remember, especially this Good Friday, that Christ came to save us and God showed us the ultimate example of love by the sacrificing of His only son, Jesus Christ.  Let’s make every effort to put a smile on our faces, be God’s hands and feet and in each of our relationships emulate the love that we are shown in the scriptures and spread God’s love throughout the world to draw people to Christ.

Remember:  “Nor height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation will be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord” (Romans 8:39 AMP)

God’s Love Is True LOVE, The True Example, The Best Example, God’s Love is the only love that will complete you (no one else can do that).

When You Want To Give Up

“No one’s ever seen or heard anything like this, Never so much as imagined anything quite like it-What God has arranged for those who love him.  But you’ve seen and heard it because God by his Spirit has brought it all out into the open before you.”

(1 Corinthians 2:9 MSG)

“Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us…” (Ephesians 3:20 KJV)

“See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it?  I am making a way in the wilderness and streams in the wasteland.” (Isaiah 43:19 NIV)

It’s so easy to give up, especially when you have been waiting a long time for something.  Recently I took a trip to a place that has a huge amount of tourist traffic.  In order to see some of the attractions a person needs plenty of patience to wait for parking or to wade through crowds to get to see anything.  Well to make a long story short, we were waiting for a parking spot.  We circled for at least 45 minutes, waiting and waiting for someone to leave.  Gas was running low in the compact rental car and we starting saying amongst ourselves, “you know what lets just go get gas and forget it.”  As soon as we made a decision to give up on finding  a parking spot, a car put on it’s reverse lights to come out of the congested parking area AND the car was parked right next to us!  It was like God said okay, you’ve waited long enough, you’re ready for this parking spot right now.  It was the perfect spot and in the middle of everything.  The moral of this small story is that when you wait on God, even when you are at the end of your rope and you have no other options He will show up in the midst all of a sudden.  He will give you exactly what you need at the perfect time. He only gives the very best and always exceeds your expectations.  Also make sure to ask Him that He would reveal His presence in the smallest of situations in the waiting period, keep your eyes on Him.  Just wait on Him!
